Holiday Egg Nog

3/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups bourbon
1 quart whipping cream, whipped
nutmeg
Beat the egg yolks with sugar until light and lemon colored.
Gradually add bourbon, beating well.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the yolk mixture along with the whipped cream.
Chill. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Makes about 2 quarts.
