1/2 cup butter or margarine
3 Tablespoons 10X (confectioners’) sugar
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
 
1. Cream butter or margarine with sugar in medium-size bowl;gradually add flour, mixing in thoroughly; stir in nuts; chill.

2. Form teaspoonfuls of dough into marble-size balls by rolling lightly between palms of hands; place on ungreased cookie sheets.

3. Bake in moderate oven (325 degrees) for 20 minutes, or until pale golden.

4. Remove from cookie sheet; while still hot, roll in additional confectioners’ sugar; cool.

Makes about 4 dozen balls.
