1 (#10) can whole Irish potatoes (approx. 9 lbs. 6 oz.)
3 small cans diced potatoes
1 tube Kraft midget Longhorn Colby cheese
16 ounces Kraft Cheese Whiz
1/2 package Swiss cheese
milk (approx. 2 cups)
salt
pepper
1/4 pound butter
bacon bits (optional)

*THIS RECIPE FILLS A LARGE, DEEP BAKING PAN.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line bottom of pan with whole potatoes (about 1/2 can).
Sprinkle about 1/2 of diced potatoes on top.
Slice 1/2 of butter and spread on first layer.
Salt and pepper first layer to taste.
*May add bacon bits if desired.
Slice off 6-8 thin slices of Colby cheese and lay them on bottom layer.
**REPEAT SAME FOR TOP LAYER**
Soften Cheese Whiz and spread 2-3 large Tablespoons on top.
Pour enough milk in pan to cover bottom well (approx. 2 cups).

*BE CAREFUL IN SALTING, ESPECIALLY IF BACON BITS ARE ADDED.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for approximately 30-40 minutes.
