Vidalia Sweet Onion-Sausage Casserole

12 Ritz crackers, crushed
1 pound sausage meat-browned first in skillet and drained
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 can Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 small jar pimento pepper
Put onions in bottom of dish (approx. 12 x 7-inch).
Next, put Ritz crackers and then add sausage meat.
Add a layer of onions; add cream of mushroom soup, salt and seasoning salt.
Sprinkle layer of cheese and pimento.
Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 1 hour.
Serves 6.
